Betahistine Hydrochloride Tablets IP 16 mg

This medication is used to treat dizziness (vertigo) in those who have Meniere’s disease. This medication is taken for treating a condition caused by the pressure of excess fluid in the ear. It improves the flow of blood in the internal part of the ear which helps in reduces the build up of pressure. This pressure causes dizziness, tinnitus( ringing sound in the ear) and hearing loss to people.

Things to be taken care of

• Consult a doctor before taking this medicine.
• Don’t miss any dose in between the cycle , complete the medication cycle properly.
• Always store the medicine at room temperature.
• Keep it away from the reach of children.
• If you get any type of side effect or not feeling good after taking medicine, consult with your doctor.
• Purchase prescribed proportion of dose.

How to take it

Take it three times daily with healthy food.  Maintenance doses are generally in the range 24 – 48 mg daily. Dosage can be adjusted to suit individual patient needs. Leave 6-8 hours while consuming its dose.
